Wet
2020 · 1 min 30s · Archival and Found Footage
With archival images and spoken words excerpted from 1932 correspondence between Anaïs Nin and Henry Miller, "Wet" juxtaposes the eroticism of Nin’s text with the precariousness of New Orleans’ relationship to the water that defines and sustains it.
An experiment in the degradation of digital footage using grain, dust and scratches, water damage, and film burns applied in post.
